Working Principle of Potato Blanching Machine

The core function of the potato blanching machine is to heat treat potatoes after slicing or cutting to improve their color, texture and processing stability. The potato blancher creates a high-temperature hot water environment by heating water in a tank to a set temperature (generally between 80°C and 100°C), providing the necessary conditions for potato blanching.

During processing, the potatoes are fed into the hot water for a short period of time. Due to the low density of potato chips, easy to float on the water surface, for which the vegetable blanching machine is equipped with a special pressure mechanism, which can gently press the floating potato slices into the water, to ensure that the hot water can be fully contacted with each piece of material, so as to achieve a more uniform bleaching effect. The general bleaching time is controlled between 1 and 2 minutes, and the time can be adjusted according to the actual process requirements.
